#29: Footsteps Through Narnia

Stirring in our sleep, I finally came to, at around 07:30, due to the sound of Sean's excitement.

I opened my eyes, and the first thing I saw was the hedge outside of my window, completely covered in snow.

I've never got out of bed so quickly!

All the roads, roofs, trees, and fields were all coated white. Virgin snow had spread its beauty across the whole of Wells.

After snuggling back under my own personal blanket of snow, Sean went home briefly, bought some sleds, then we wrapped up tightly, and headed for the golf course.

I've only ever been sledging once in my life, and that was in January 2010. This was my first time up the golf course, despite living opposite for over 10 years.
There were so many people there, as its apparently one of the best places to go sledging. It certainly lived up to its name!

After me and Sean had spent a couple of hours rolling about, and falling over, we headed back to mine for hot chocolate, with marshmallows, and re-watched the first few episodes of The Office. Absolute comedy gold!

The snow will be here for a while, so it's going to be all about the frost biting blog posts, from now on.
