#14: Reminiscing With The Missing...

This evening has definitely made today the best day of the year, so far...

It started out pretty standard. Not getting up until 15:30, because I didn't get to sleep until 06:00. I put some clothes on, went for a walk before it got dark, bought some chocolate, and came home and had my breakfast... at around 16:30.

It was only when me and Lucy met up at The Crown, later that evening, that things got exceedingly good!

We headed to the garden, caught up on the antics of New Year's, and filled each other in on all the latest gossip. After, we headed back inside, we bumped into two old school friends, having a drink. Emma; an ex art class buddy, who I've always been friendly with, and Josh; a good friend, and GCSE drama partner, who I've been dying to catch up with!

We caught up on what had been happening in our lives over the past 6 years, and reminisced over the good old days! Performing for our GCSE Drama play, house parties, and of course, the classic; getting so drunk, you can't remember what you've said, or who you've insulted, but you know it definitely happened! Memories that are far too much fun to forget (when sober), so full of great times, and people greatly missed.

Friends come and go, in and out of our lives, but it's important to hold on to the ones that you can grasp, and to let go if the ones who slip away willingly. And then there's the ones who have just gone missing...

I think this is going to be the year of letting go of some current friends, making new ones, and reuniting with the oldies.
