#41: All That Glitters Ain't Gold

I started my day by playing a few of the games on Wii Fit, with my mum. It was a lot of fun, and was nice to bond with her, as it's quite a rarity. But today was not a day of sports and fitness, it was a day of nostalgia.

A few days ago, I ordered a copy of The Gold Experience, by Prince. This was an album we used to own, back in the 90's, that has become quite difficult to buy, for a normal price of around £7. However, I found a copy of it, along with The Greatest Hits 1, on eBay, both in good condition, for £15.

So, when it arrived today, it was the first thing I could think about listening to. After hearing mist of the tracks, I came across the song "Gold". A song I used to love as a kid, that I had completely forgotten about, until now. Approximately 17 years later, the sound of nostalgia flowed through me, and was literally music to my ears.

As a tribute, I wore Prince on my body, with pride, and bounced about in sparkly, gold pants to add to the theme.
