#23: Tuning In

Switching my old school radio on this morning, was a great idea!

This morning, after I had showered, I decided to listen to my old school radio, whilst getting ready to go into town.

It's not often that I listen to the radio, apart from when I'm either in the car, or listening to Magic, Q, and Kerrang, whilst cleaning, or eating. I can't be dealing with the crap Kiss enjoys playing so much, so I'll usually bang on my PS3, and listen to my favourite tracks of all time... There are 1000s on there!

But when I get to the point where I feel it's time for a change, I check out what new material our "NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL MUSIC '13" artists have to offer me, by switching on the radio.

Today, was all about Radio 2.

I put my fingers to the dial, and grazed the volume, in search of sweet sounds. All that was played from a small speaker, were radio signals out of alignment of what I needed to be hearing. So, I twisted the tuner, until music spoke to me, using the sounds of the 60s to communicate to me.

The Beatles, Elvis, and all the usual suspects were being counted down from a top 20 chart of the 60s. It was this that got me dancing, and started my day, in the was a day should be started! I was dressing, and swinging myself around my room, loving every second of it!

I left with a smile on my face, and returned with an even bigger one. Music is what reminds me that not only am I alive, but that I am living.

You can achieve whatever you want to in life, as long as you can hear the beat of your heart, feel the flow of blood, and taste the rhythm in your soul. Because music will keep you alive!
